About the job

• Independent diagnostic activity in the histopathological assessment of gynecological specimens and breast specimens from a large university referral material
• Participation in intraoperative frozen section examinations
• Active participation in interdisciplinary tumor boards, especially within the framework of the breast center and gynecological tumor boards
• Close clinical-pathological collaboration with the clinical partners of the University Hospital Basel
• Involvement in the training and education of assistant physicians as well as the opportunity to participate in scientific projects with access to modern infrastructure in molecular pathology, digital pathology, and translational research

• Specialist title in pathology (FMH or equivalent recognition)
• Extensive experience in histopathological diagnostics
• Proven interest or existing expertise in gynecological and breast pathology
• Interest in interdisciplinary clinical collaboration and tumor boards
• Motivation to contribute to teaching and research in a university environment as well as interest in further developing your own professional and scientific profile
