Class and annual salary (including 13th month salary):
12 98'621.-- / 158'999.--
Tasks:
- ensures the management (leadership, administration, coordination, planning, and control) of the Center according to the objectives of the Military and Civil Protection Section (SMPP) and the Department
- ensures the achievement of qualitative and quantitative objectives within the set deadlines through rational use of available resources
- manages personnel (setting objectives, evaluating collaborators, substitution procedures, development and training) and manages the allocated financial resources
- guarantees the application of the Regulation related to the management of the Center
- reviews and manages projects of strategic importance with a marked political impact. Supports other cantonal units in preparations and management of special and extraordinary situations
- supervises, coordinates, collaborates, and prepares messages, laws, decisions, regulations, reports, responses to parliamentary acts and consultation procedures, and supports the Section Head in SMPP activities
- manages and ensures contacts with cantonal and federal offices and with the media on matters concerning the Center and ensures adequate internal communication
- participates in sector conferences, working groups, and cantonal, inter-cantonal, and federal commissions to ensure transparent information flow to political and operational bodies
Requirements:
- (bachelor + master) university-level education, federal polytechnic school or professional university school preferably in business administration, law, health, and social fields
- proven many years of leadership experience
- excellent knowledge of the Italian language, good written and spoken knowledge of a second official language, and knowledge of English
- excellent knowledge of the Office package (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

- excellent conduct, no record incompatible with the function

Employment conditions:

- working hours: 42 hours per week (for a 100% employment relationship), flexible or according to service needs
