The court staff work daily on behalf of those seeking justice for an independent and efficient judiciary and thus make a valuable contribution to legal peace.
The District Court Rheintal in Altstätten is the court of first instance in civil and criminal matters. Depending on the jurisdiction, a single judge or the court in a panel of three or five judges decides. The district court currently employs around 23 staff members.
