Task
Start your professional career in an international and dynamic environment. During your internship, you will help develop analytical solutions for complex insurance issues and gain deep insights into actuarial topics such as reserving and capital modeling.
How you advance KPMG
- Actively support the team in the development and elaboration of various analytical solutions and modeling projects
- Automate existing processes, develop new solutions for analysis, evaluation, and visualization of actuarial data in R, Python, and Tableau
- Gain initial insight into actuarial consulting projects, for example in the areas of Swiss Solvency Test (SST), Solvency II, Capital Modelling (ORSA), reserving, or pricing modeling
- Participate in the review of insurance technical provisions for life and non-life insurance companies according to national and international accounting standards (OR, IFRS, US GAAP)
- Build a professional network and interact with internal and external contacts
Why you are successful
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Physics, Data Science, or Statistics
- Committed and customer-oriented personality with an analytical and precise way of working
- Initial professional experience in consulting or the insurance environment is an advantage
- Good knowledge of at least one programming language (e.g., Python, R, C#)
- Knowledge of visualization dashboards (e.g., Tableau, Qlik, PowerBI) is a plus
- Fluent German and very good English skills, French skills are a plus
