Task

How you advance KPMG

• Actively support the team in the development and elaboration of various analytical solutions and modeling projects


• Automate existing processes, develop new solutions for analysis, evaluation, and visualization of actuarial data in R, Python, and Tableau


• Gain initial insight into actuarial consulting projects, for example in the areas of Swiss Solvency Test (SST), Solvency II, Capital Modelling (ORSA), reserving, or pricing modeling


• Participate in the review of insurance technical provisions for life and non-life insurance companies according to national and international accounting standards (OR, IFRS, US GAAP)


• Build a professional network and interact with internal and external contacts

Why you are successful

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Physics, Data Science, or Statistics


• Committed and customer-oriented personality with an analytical and precise way of working


• Initial professional experience in consulting or the insurance environment is an advantage


• Good knowledge of at least one programming language (e.g., Python, R, C#)


• Knowledge of visualization dashboards (e.g., Tableau, Qlik, PowerBI) is a plus


• Fluent German and very good English skills, French skills are a plus
