Our hospital-based emergency medical service carries out over 7,500 missions annually at our locations in Schlieren and Regensdorf. Since March 2020, our emergency service has also been a training center for emergency physicians and has a deep partnership with Alpine Air Ambulance (AAA).
The operational area includes ten Limmattal municipalities as well as the seven municipalities of the Zurich planning group Furttal and also includes active neighborhood assistance in the adjacent municipalities and the city of Zurich. Through close cooperation with partner organizations such as police, fire department, and other emergency services, we ensure fast, competent, and seamless care.
As a training company, we train several students annually to become Certified Paramedics HF. The flexible duty scheduling in the emergency service enables an optimal work-life balance.
- in organizing and leading rescue missions corresponding to your training level
- in ensuring phase-appropriate, situation-adapted emergency medical care for your patients
- in initiating and carrying out medical measures within your area of competence
- in performing hygiene measures and tasks that serve to restore operational readiness
- in operating and monitoring all technical aids used
- in driving emergency vehicles with and without special signals
- have a secondary level II qualification (at least 3-year vocational training with Federal Certificate of Competence, FMS or Matura)
- hold a D1/C1 driver’s license
- have completed the Multicheck (Health HF / Certified Paramedic HF)
- have a current extract from the criminal and ADMAS register
- are at least 23 years old at the start of training
