This position offers you
- You take responsibility for planning, executing, and documenting manual and automated software tests for embedded systems
- The further development and maintenance of automated test environments are part of your tasks, for example hardware-in-the-loop, unit tests, integration tests, and UI tests
- You are the driving force in building the test framework and responsible for providing the artifacts for software release
- To consider testability early in the development process and anchor "Built in Quality" testing, you work closely with developers
- You support the development and expansion of the test strategy and its integration into the V-ZUG process landscape in collaboration with all stakeholders
- You work closely with developers, architects, and product owners in the SAFe environment and train and coach developers in software testing methodology
You bring the following to the position
- You have a degree in computer science, electrical engineering, or a comparable education and ideally hold an ISTQB certification
- You have several years of experience in software testing, preferably in the embedded environment, as well as solid experience in using test automation tools (for example GoogleTest, Squish, or similar)
- You are familiar with scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell for automation tasks and have experience with continuous integration and delivery tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps
- You convince with your strong communication skills and bring the necessary persuasiveness to sustainably anchor quality issues
- High initiative, a genuine hands-on mentality, and the ability to implement complex topics iteratively and solution-oriented characterize you
- You already have experience working with agile methods such as Scrum or SAFe and can communicate very well in both German and English – orally and in writing

V-ZUG Software Engineering is a division within the Technology Department. In close collaboration with innovation development, product management, IT, production, and other departments, we are responsible for the software of our household appliances in the kitchen and textile sectors. Furthermore, we design digital channels such as the V-ZUG Home App, the V-ZUG Diagnosis App, VZUG.com, as well as our IoT platform, through which external partners are integrated into our ecosystem.
