Polymechanic (Assembly Expert)
Activities
- Assembling devices, assemblies, and machines according to drawings and parts lists
- Preparing and processing sheet metal and manufactured parts
- Welding sheet metal parts, assemblies, and constructions
- Manufacturing and reworking milling and turning parts
- Electrical wiring of assemblies and complete devices
- Pneumatic connection and commissioning of assemblies
- Conducting test runs as well as functional and quality checks
Requirements
- Completed training as a polymechanic or a comparable qualification
- Experience in assembling devices, assemblies, or machines
- Good knowledge of metalworking
- Experience in electrical wiring and pneumatics
- Welding skills
- Technical understanding and manual dexterity
- Independent, precise, and reliable working style
