As part of its development, our French subsidiary in Villeneuve sous Dammartin / Villepinte is looking for a

Junior Tax Specialist – Tax Representation Officer M/F

Attached to the Customs Department, you will provide support on all tax representation issues for our clients.

Your main mission will be to ensure the tax compliance of our operations and to monitor representation contracts.

Main Missions:

Management of Tax Representation (Experience required):

• Participate in the creation, modification, and closure of tax representation files.
• Ensure the administrative follow-up and management of Tax Representation contracts.

Compliance with customs and tax obligations

• Ensure the monitoring and management of goods exchange declarations (D.E.B. /EMEBI/Intrastat).
• Proceed with the verification and submission of Value Added Tax (VAT – CA3) declarations.
• Contribute generally to the company’s tax and customs compliance.

Compliance and Advice:

• Ensure constant legal and tax monitoring (laws, regulations, internal and European case law).
• Provide advice to operational teams and central management on tax issues related to transport and logistics activities.

Legal and Customs Support:

• Contribute to the follow-up of Customs Communication requests.
• Participate in securing internal processes from a tax and customs law perspective.

Profile Sought

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s +3 to +5 degree in Taxation, Tax Law, Business Law, or equivalent (e.g., Master in Business Law).
• First mandatory experience in a tax representation structure.
• Minimum 3 years of required experience Skills and Qualities
• Good knowledge of tax law and ideally transport law and customs law.
• English mandatory; mastery of a second language is an asset.
• Rigor and good synthesis and analysis skills for analyzing complex data.
• Autonomy, adaptability, and pedagogy.
• Good interpersonal skills and excellent writing skills in French.
• Curiosity to stay informed about tax news.

Conditions:

• Contract Type: Permanent
• Location: Villeneuve sous Dammartin / Villepinte
• Salary: €35K to €42K gross annually over 13 months, depending on profile and experience
