Our client, a popular hospital in the canton of Zurich, offers people in the region basic care in the areas of medicine, surgery as well as gynecology and obstetrics. Basic care also includes the services of the hospital's own emergency service, the interdisciplinary emergency department, and the intensive care unit. Dipl. Nurse / Dipl. Nurse 80-100% Certified Palliative Care and Acute Medicine
Task:
Ensuring professional care of patients with complex medical conditions and in close collaboration with the interprofessional treatment team. Ensuring care quality by implementing the respective standards and guidelines. Constructive teamwork as well as an active contribution in interdisciplinary and interprofessional collaboration are a matter of course for you. Further development of the specialist field of Palliative Care in close cooperation with the specialist responsible for nursing and the interprofessional team. In agreement with the ward management and the vocational trainer, you lead, accompany and advise the FaGe trainees and HF students.
Requirements:
Degree as Dipl. Nurse HF / FH including current professional experience in a medical department as well as in the Swiss healthcare system. Experience in the field of Palliative Care is an advantage. Completed further training B1 / CAS Palliative Care – or willingness to complete this during employment. Ability to empathize with simultaneous inner stability, especially with regard to working with people in difficult life situations and at the end of life. High independence, communication skills, initiative and social competence. Willingness to work in all shifts including night duty. We expect IT user skills in dealing with common Office programs.
