Head of the Debtor Accounting and Parental Contributions Sector

The Directorate General for Childhood and Youth (DGEJ) implements the cantonal policy for childhood and youth, structured around three missions: prevention, protection and participation. It guarantees children and young people in the canton support tailored to their needs, especially when their development or safety is at risk.

The Finance Unit of the Directorate General for Childhood and Youth (DGEJ) is advertising a position for Head of the Debtor Accounting and Parental Contributions Sector to complete its teams.

• Lead the debtor accounting and parental contributions sector, and manage its team;

• Organise, supervise and optimise processes related to maintaining general accounting and subsidiary debtor accounting;

• Co-manage the general accounting and act as the reference for subsidiary debtor accounting;

• Ensure the setting of parental contributions and guarantee the consistency of decisions made;

• Participate in setting and achieving the objectives of the Finance Unit and assist the Unit head and their deputy.

• Bachelor's degree in economics (HES, UNI) or specialist diploma in finance and accounting;

• Required training in team management;

• Proven professional experience in accounting and team leadership;

• Excellent command of common IT tools;

• Strong knowledge of accounting standards, SAP or another ERP;

• Knowledge of financial processes and directives of the State of Vaud is an asset;

• Leadership with decisiveness and determination;

• Good self-control and stress management.
