The Cantonal Tax Office is responsible for enforcing the provisions of federal, cantonal, and municipal taxes. It ensures the complete registration of all taxpayers, professional and customer-oriented tax assessment, and uniform tax collection.
The Management Support main department of the Cantonal Tax Office St.Gallen supports all organizational units in the office in fulfilling their tasks and provides the necessary infrastructure.

What to expect
- You ensure the stable, secure, and economical operation of our IT applications and continuously develop them further
- You collect requirements from the specialist departments and translate them into implementable solutions
- You plan and manage optimization and further development projects
- You coordinate internal stakeholders and external partners
- You ensure compliance with information security, data protection, and quality standards
- You actively shape processes and systems at the interface between business and IT
- You take on responsibility in application management or project management depending on the focus
What distinguishes you
- Completed studies (e.g., business informatics, computer science, business administration) or comparable qualification
- Several years of experience in application management, business analysis, or IT project management
- Willingness to also take on tasks in the adjacent area
- Structured, analytical, and solution-oriented way of working
- You take responsibility, think along, and set clear priorities
- You communicate confidently with different stakeholders
- Knowledge of HERMES or comparable methods is a plus
