Les Peupliers brings together three populations under one roof. Children, adolescents - young adults, and elderly people coexist and learn from each other in an idyllic setting at the foot of the Cousimbert, between Fribourg and Bulle.
For our Specialized Vocational Training Center (CFPS), we are looking for our future colleague as a Generalist Support Teacher – 50%
Your main mission: To support young people in vocational training (FPra, AFP or CFC) in strengthening their school knowledge and developing their learning skills, in small groups (4 to 5 students), in a caring and personalized environment.
Your responsibilities
- Deliver weekly courses within the preparatory year framework (French, mathematics, general culture).
- Support apprentices in training by setting up support courses.
- Assess the school skills of apprentices in order to guide them towards the most suitable vocational training level.
- Adapt educational content according to the level and profession chosen by the apprentice.
- Collaborate with all actors involved in the apprentices' journey: MSP, educators, vocational schools, psychologists.
Your profile
- Educational training (secondary education, adult education, etc.).
- Experience in supporting young people in difficulty (cognitive, physical, psychological, or behavioral difficulties).
- Ability to establish a framework within the class group while fostering a climate of trust and connection.
- Personal maturity to handle sometimes complex situations of our apprentices.
- Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team.
