Key Account Manager (m/f/d)
Your tasks
- You manage and develop important existing customers with a focus on medium to large customers in technical, qualitative, and commercial aspects
- You identify new potential customers in known and new markets and develop viable business models from them.
- You lead demanding customer projects and special tasks domestically and abroad, from solution finding through offer submission to contract fulfillment
- You coordinate complaints, technical clarifications, and cross-departmental alignments in close cooperation with engineering, quality, and production
- You analyze trends and competitors, establish partnerships in low-cost countries, and contribute impulses for the further development of the sales concept
- You assist with forecasting, cash collection, CRM maintenance, and the operational implementation of country-specific sales strategies
Your profile
- You have a solid technical or business-related education (e.g., technician HF, industrial engineer, or an electronics-savvy commercial employee)
- You have at least five years of professional experience in an industrial environment (printed circuit boards, electronics, or engineering) — ideally with an international focus
- You bring proven experience in project management and matrix organizations — combined with a confident and trustworthy appearance with customers
- You have very good English skills in spoken and written form, including technical terminology in electronics — additional languages are a plus
- You communicate clearly, solution-oriented, and on equal footing — both with customers and internally within the team
- You convince through initiative, technical curiosity, negotiation skills, as well as endurance and flexibility in international sales daily business
