SENIOR RECEIVABLES ACCOUNTANT SWITZERLAND (M/F/D)

You will take on classic accounts receivable accounting tasks while also dealing with complex issues and projects. As a billing expert, you will be responsible for carrying out an efficient and timely billing process for the stations in Zurich, Geneva, and Basel. Your activities:

Professional team lead in the billing team and overall responsibility (all stations) for:

• ensuring and improving an efficient cash collection process including dunning process

• accounts receivable management for the stations / various subsidiaries (tracking receivables)

• ensuring automated processes and manual billing with different systems as well as understanding data flows

• Carrying out the operational billing process for the Basel station (creation and dispatch of invoices)
• Close coordination with the internal commercial team to ensure optimal service to our customers
• Managing and responding to customer inquiries regarding invoicing, maintaining direct contact with customers
• Support for IKS topics for all CH stations
• Participation in internal corporate projects (e.g., Leakage & Billing, IATA Clearing House, etc.)
• Assisting with the closing of complex topics, provisions, setting up accounting logic for new business cases, etc.
• Substitutions within the accounts receivable / billing team

Your profile:

• Commercial basic training as well as specialized further training as an accountant with federal certificate or a business background (HF/FH)
• Several years of experience in accounting and at least 3 years of experience in a similar role
• Very good German language skills (native level) as well as good knowledge of English (confident communication) both spoken and written, French skills are an advantage
• Solid IT skills: MS Office suite, SAP R3 (FI/CO/CD) and proficient in Excel, affinity and enthusiasm for databases and data flows
• Knowledge of the accounting standards OR and IFRS
