Managerial Development Specialist at the Human Resources Department
The Managerial and Career Development Unit of the Human Resources Department at CHUV is looking for a managerial development specialist at 80%
Context
The Lausanne University Hospital (CHUV) is one of the 5 Swiss university hospitals. Thanks to its collaboration with the Faculty of Biology and Medicine of the University of Lausanne and EPFL, CHUV plays a leading role in medical care, medical research, and education.
Within the Human Resources Department, the Managerial and Career Development Unit helps to disseminate and evolve the managerial culture of CHUV by supporting (future) managers in key phases of their career through various approaches and tools to encourage them to question, expand, and put into practice the managerial dimension in their managerial role.
Mission
Your mission is to disseminate and evolve the managerial culture by supporting managers in key phases of their career (recruitment, promotions, etc.)
To do this, you will be required to:
- Conduct selection and development assessments (individual and/or collective) for senior and executive management positions, from needs evaluation to development plan creation
- Perform psychometric profiles, especially within recruitment and promotion processes
- Personally accompany managers in a personalized manner for development reviews
- Support management teams in team-building initiatives or workshop facilitation
- Advise line management and HR partners in all processes related to the evaluation and development of managerial skills (talent identification and management, manager mobility, promotion, training, individual or team support, coaching, etc.)
- Deploy the managerial skills development policy through high value-added services
- On request, undertake special assignments responding to field needs and the strategy of our internal clients with various HR interlocutors, operational managers, and external partners
- Continuously promote, through your various actions, the linking of skills and resources to support the development of managerial culture as well as the identification and planning of succession.
Profile
- University master’s degree in work psychology, sociology, HR, or an equivalent qualification
- Proven professional experience as a specialist in managerial skills development including assessments, coaching, psychometric tools, reviews, and managerial training
- Certified in proven psychometric tools
- Able to conduct complete assessments, write reports, and present results to a demanding audience
- Ability to interact in a complex and changing environment, showing agility by adapting to different personalities and professional cultures
- Excellent level of French and strong writing skills
- Committed, open, proactive, quick, positive, and caring personality, with tact and interpersonal skills
- Service- and results-oriented while capable of reflection and perspective
- Objective, with analytical and synthesis skills, methodical and persevering.
