Locksmith: Construction Machinery & Deputy Team Leader
(80% - 100%)
Passionate about steel, horsepower, and responsibility? You love it when things get massive and a machine is not just big but gigantic? You have what it takes not only to work on iron but also to take the lead sometimes?
Then you are exactly right at Avesco AG. We are looking for a personality who is enthusiastic about large construction machines and a touch of leadership air.
Your daily routine with us
- Heavy Metal: You maintain, repair, and reinforce our yellow giants mainly in our workshop in Langenthal, but occasionally also on-site at our customers (construction site / customer workshop), and welding, flame cutting, and mechanical challenges are your daily bread.
- Where there’s a will, there’s a way: You implement orders decisively and ensure with your passion an exceptional service that delights our customers.
- Deputy boss mode: When your team leader is absent, you are the rock in the surf. You coordinate orders, make competent decisions thanks to short communication paths, and are the first point of contact for the team.
- Quality guarantor: You are proud of your work and ensure that buckets, booms, and undercarriages look like new again – safety and sustainability are always in your focus.
What you bring with you
- Craftsmanship in your blood: You have training as a locksmith, plant and apparatus builder, agricultural or construction machinery mechanic, or metalworker and bring a solid amount of experience.
- Digital spark: You already have experience with CNC operation and CAD or have the drive to learn it with us – we support you!
- Passion & responsibility: You listen carefully, act accordingly, and gladly take responsibility for your work and the team.
- Doer mentality: You are curious, enjoy learning, and actively share your experiences with your colleagues – because we grow together.
- Welding pro: You master the common welding processes confidently and are not afraid of the dimensions of our Caterpillar fleet.
- Preferably in possession of a Category B driving license
What awaits you with us
- Responsibility: A challenging task with high personal responsibility in a success-oriented company and the daily chance to inspire our customers.
- Leadership: Flat hierarchies and exemplary leadership at eye level (genuine leadership mentality).
- Package: Fair employment package with good social benefits (13 monthly salaries, 40-hour week, at least 25 days of vacation as well as development and training opportunities).
- Extras: Attractive employee discounts for you.
- The big stuff: You work with the top class of construction machinery (Caterpillar & Co.).
- Trust: We don’t throw you in at the deep end but prepare you specifically for your job and the deputy role.
- Top equipment: Your workshop and your tools are state-of-the-art – we don’t skimp on the essentials.
- Spirit: A strong team where the word still counts. We all pull together.
