What to expect from us
The focus of your tasks is the management and completion of criminal investigations into major crimes (homicides, etc.), qualified sexual offenses and child protection cases, as well as particularly demanding cases of domestic violence. You provide on-call services and independently represent the prosecution before the district court and the higher court. In addition, we appreciate your participation in projects and commissions. A competent procedural assistant will support you.
How to convince us
You have several years of experience in managing criminal cases and court experience at first and second instance. Ideally, you hold a lawyer's license or have another equivalent qualification. You apply your solid knowledge of criminal and criminal procedural law practically, and you conduct your investigations systematically, efficiently, and purposefully. You are a team player with a positive mindset and open to (technical) innovations. Formally, you are eligible for election as a prosecutor according to the Zurich Court Organization Act.
Your personal strengths include absolute integrity, discretion, and high resilience, even in hectic situations. Diplomatic skill combined with assertiveness enables you to consistently implement your will to prosecute. You decide independently and take responsibility but also demonstrate teamwork skills.
