About the job
The Climate School program of the Winterthur association MyBluePlanet is an experiential multi-year climate protection and education program and label for Swiss schools. From July 2026 or by arrangement, we are looking for an intern for project collaboration (80-100%) for twelve months.
Your area of responsibility:
- Support and further development of the Climate School program
- Assistance in creating and designing educational activities
- Supervision and first contact person for the Climate Council (committee of students)
- Support of project management in planning and carrying out action days and other events
- Communicative support on action days and project days
- Assistance in planning and implementing communication and marketing measures (newsletter, news articles, social media, printed materials, etc.)
- Website administration
- Support of accounting as well as maintenance of crowdfunding income
- Support in fundraising (proofreading applications, creating reports)
- Support in school acquisition (mailings, telephone acquisition)
- Maintenance of the CRM contact database
- Meeting support and minute taking
You bring with you:
- Completed bachelor's degree or training preferably in the fields of environmental sciences, pedagogy, or communication sciences
- Affinity and enthusiasm for climate protection and environmental topics
- Very good written and spoken German skills and enjoyment of writing
- Good organizational and communication skills
- Independent, structured, and reliable working style
- Ideally experience working with children and young people (e.g., voluntary work in youth groups, nature conservation)
- Experience with Microsoft Office and other IT programs
- Enjoyment of photography and image editing as well as creative and entrepreneurial work
