About the job
The Office for Data and Statistics of the Canton of Thurgau collects, analyzes, and publishes statistical data and provides information on social and economic developments in the Canton of Thurgau. It also manages the coordination office for Open Government Data (OGD) and is the data management competence center for the Cantonal Administration of Thurgau.
To strengthen our team, we are looking for immediately or by arrangement you as
Your tasks
Together with our small health statistics team, you will carry out the data collections prescribed by the federal government at Thurgau hospitals, nursing homes, and Spitex organizations. You maintain the data inventories, create data analyses and data products for the Office of Health, and develop statistical publications in the health sector.
Your profile
- University or university of applied sciences degree related to data management or healthcare
- Solid knowledge and experience in data management and data analysis
- Familiarity with common statistical software (preferably R), basic knowledge of SQL
- Interest in health policy topics, ideally professional background in healthcare
- Ability to prepare and explain complex issues simply and clearly
- Independent and results-oriented work, high quality awareness
- Enjoyment in providing services
