For our new internal medicine rehab ward, we are looking for a co-team leader who is eager to lead a new team, motivate, and actively build the new ward together. About us
Barmelweid is the leading specialist and rehabilitation clinic in Northwestern Switzerland and the largest psychosomatic clinic in Switzerland. The clinic cares for patients inpatient in 285 beds. The clinic specializes in geriatric, internal medicine, cardiovascular and pulmonary rehabilitation, long COVID, psychosomatic medicine and psychotherapy, psychocardiology, as well as sleep medicine.
At Barmelweid, the Lean mindset and methods are central: All efforts are focused on the patients. This includes standardized safety rounds, the patient board, and leveling the workload on the wards through flows. Nursing in the Department of Psychosomatic Medicine and Psychotherapy is complemented by the method of primary nursing, and nursing in the Department of Internal Medicine by care managers.
Patients usually stay 2 to 6 weeks at Barmelweid. This gives our nurses time to engage deeply with the patients. You can expect a lively operation with interprofessional work that calls on all the skills of a nurse.
Barmelweid employs over 700 staff. It is located at about 800 meters altitude on a clearing in the Aargau Jura and is embedded in a unique environment with a nature park.
