Job Description
For our customer, an internationally leading pharmaceutical company in Bern, we are currently looking to hire a Laboratory Technician (Protein Analytics). Your main responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Responsibilities:
- Perform experiments, document your work accurately, and verify results
- Conduct routine maintenance and calibration on critical instrumentation
- Perform routine analytical measurements (HPLC, Filtration)
- Prepare buffers for experiments
- Manually operate complex filtration systems
- Operate automated processes, including process monitoring
Qualifications
- Lab technician education (EFZ Biology/ Chemistry) or bachelor's degree in Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Biology (or equivalent institution of higher education) in a relevant field. Experience in the chemical, pharmaceutical, or food industry is also valued
- Highly motivated with strong interpersonal skills
- Able to work in a team as well as semi-autonomously; establish priorities and proceed with objectives according to the team's goals
- Think outside of the box to find solutions to problems
- Good communication and organizational skills
- Language proficiency: Fluent in German and English
