The Kantonsschule Uetikon am See (KUE) was newly founded in summer 2018 and is still in the development phase. It offers a lower secondary level (9th/10th grade) and five of the Zurich Matura profiles (classical languages, mathematical-natural sciences, modern languages, economic-legal, as well as philosophical-pedagogical-psychological). Until the new buildings on the CU site directly by the lake are occupied (expected in 2032), KUE has a population of around 800 students.

Your tasks

In this role, you act as the interface between all user groups of the school building. You are used to working independently and enjoy a varied daily routine. It is important to reconcile the diverse needs of all building users with service-oriented skill. Your positive nature and benevolent attitude will also benefit you in daily interactions with students.

The following activities are part of your daily routine:

• Maintenance and upkeep of the infrastructure
• Independent repair and maintenance work
• Support of school events, occasionally also in the evening
• Quality assurance of external cleaning
• Supervision of student assistants
• Organization of craftsmen (repairs, conversions, etc.)
• Maintenance of the surroundings

The following activities are part of your daily routine:

Your profile

We are looking for a person who brings the following:

• Specialist in facility maintenance or facility practitioner, or a craft apprenticeship
• Good German skills (spoken and written)
• High commitment and flexibility
• Working hours usually between 10:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m.
• Enjoyment in working with young people
