Kantonsschule am Brühl St.Gallen – The practice-oriented cantonal school

The Kantonsschule am Brühl St.Gallen, with its approximately 600 students and 70 teachers, offers practice-oriented courses in five professional fields (FMS), the computer science middle school (IMS), and the business middle school (WMS).

Two teachers for subjects in the EFZ area: Business (HKB B, C and D) and Digital Competencies (HKB E)

Workload: each 60%

Workplace: City of St.Gallen

What to expect

• You will teach in the action competence area (HKB B to E, excluding foreign languages).
• You will contribute your ideas to the further development of the school and the subject group.
• You will take on additional tasks in the area of professional duties, e.g., project collaboration and learning coaching.
• You will participate in special weeks and school events.

What distinguishes you

• You are a competent, committed, and team-oriented teacher.
• You are interested in cooperative methods, a variety of methods, and team teaching.
• You already have teaching experience at the secondary level II, ideally in the area of vocational education.
• You bring entrepreneurial spirit and practical relevance.
• You have a university of applied sciences or university degree in the subject area or are in training for it.
• You have a teaching diploma for middle schools or vocational schools (secondary level II) as well as an additional professional pedagogical qualification, or are willing to acquire it.
