About the Position
We are looking for a Product Design Engineering Entry Professional (m/f/d) for our location in Oerlikon, who questions existing solutions and develops new approaches. In this role, you work in an interdisciplinary setup, coordinate interfaces, and support execution and sales as well as troubleshooting. You are responsible for the realization of complex technical solutions and the development of new products in the service area. With technical understanding of GIS and GCB products and an affinity for IT tools (CAD, SAP, Excel), you work independently and cost-consciously. The position offers the opportunity to gain international experience and visit our global customers on site.
What You Can Achieve
Bring innovation to products, tools, and processes and implement them across departments
Technical elaboration and support for offers for sales and troubleshooting cases
Technical responsibility for the realization of customer projects, accountability for deadlines, quality, and costs
Development of new service products
Creation of comprehensive customer-specific designs
Creating, maintaining, and releasing drawings, parts lists, material masters, and instructions
Driving improvements (CIP) and changes in business processes
Creating, maintaining, reviewing, and releasing process- and quality-compliant documentation
Your Background
Independent thinking to proactively question existing solutions and develop new approaches and solutions
Enjoy working in an interdisciplinary setup and coordinating interfaces
Analytical, systematic working method, independent, committed, and cost-conscious
Technical education (TS with corresponding performance record) and experience in design
Experience in CAD, SAP, and MS Office (Excel)
Interest in exploring and using innovative tools and technologies (e.g., Gen AI tools)
Good knowledge of German and English
