What's the role?
Hilti is committed to becoming a leader in sustainability within the construction industry. Join us on this exciting journey! As an intern, you’ll actively contribute to our sustainability team by working on projects and assisting with the development and implementation of various aspects of our sustainable strategy. Your role will help shape the mindset across our international network.
Start date is flexible to the student's availability, duration for minimum 6 months.
What does the role involve?
At Hilti, we provide diverse internship opportunities in our sustainability team, tailored to your academic and professional background:
With an environmental or technical background, you will help us to achieve our CO2-reduction goals, support us in our Circularity initiatives, gather information for certifications, work on energy-efficiency initiatives or the improvement of our buildings.
Following your studies in marketing & communication or business administration, you will support the team with sustainability or circularity initiatives focused on our offering for customers or work on regulations. Other internship areas could be within communication, tool donation and our corporate volunteering program “Engaged Beyond Business.”
If IT or data management is your background, you will support us on data and reporting projects, focusing on the corporate perspective or the product view.
You will work in a highly motivated team and will be in charge of your own projects. This includes independent alignments with stakeholders within the organization, structuring and processing contents as well as bringing forth and implementing improvement processes. You’ll work closely with our experts to develop our way to drive sustainability at Hilti.
What you need is:
- Enrollment in a relevant Bachelor/Master’s program for the entire internship period
- Passion for sustainability topics
- Great communication and project management skills
- Independent and well-structured work style
- Good communication skills in English
Why should you apply?
We have an excellent mix of people, which we believe makes for a more vibrant, more innovative, more productive team. So, if you have no knowledge of construction, that’s fine with us. We’re more interested in your ability, commitment and drive to succeed.
What do we offer?
We really value our people, and we've worked hard to develop a reward package that reflects this, creating your future to be just how you would want it. Some of our benefits include:
- Connection with a diverse community of over 2,100 colleagues from 70 nationalities in a region where Liechtenstein, Austria, and Switzerland intersect.
- Employee groups actively supporting causes like female empowerment and the LGBTQIA+ community.
- Leisure activities like mountain biking and tennis.
- Opportunities for community engagement both locally and internationally.
- Shared e-bikes, an on-site gym, dining options, learning opportunities, fuel discounts, meditation/relaxation rooms, Hilti tool rental service, and massage possibilities.
