The State Chancellery advises and supports the Government Council and the Presidency in fulfilling government tasks. It acts as an interface between the directorates and provides services as a staff unit that ensure the smooth functioning of the Government Council as a collegial authority.
The staff of the State Chancellery combines important internal services such as human resources, finance, or IT. It supports the areas of the State Chancellery with expertise. We are looking for a Senior Project Manager (80-100%, fixed-term for 2.5 years) for two projects: the project to renew the IT application for the preparation of the Consolidated Development and Financial Plan and the Government Council's Annual Report, as well as the project to ensure redundant communication in administrative management during crisis situations.
Your new challenge
- In the project to renew the IT application for the preparation of the Consolidated Development and Financial Plan and the Government Council's Annual Report, you lead the procurement process and, in collaboration with the contracted company, are responsible for the development of concepts, implementation, and introduction.
- The solution to be developed in the project to ensure redundant communication in administrative management must have high resilience and include alternative procedures. You analyze organizational and procedural aspects, develop a rough concept, and accompany the implementation and introduction of suitable technical tools.
- In both projects, you can expect demanding communication and collaboration with various stakeholders and users.
You bring with you
- Proven experience in managing complex IT projects in public administration (Hermes)
- Experience in organizational and process development
- Solid technical understanding
- Experience in public procurement
- Excellent communication skills with demanding stakeholder management
- Knowledge in task and financial planning and business reporting
- Very good oral and written German skills
- Knowledge in security management is an advantage
