The Venenklinik Bellevue is a specialized clinic with around 40 employees. Our philosophy, consistent patient orientation, medical services at the highest level, and first-class care, Dr. med. Jürg Traber has determined our actions for many years:

The patient is at the center of our efforts. The exceptionally refined and family-like atmosphere of our house rounds off the offer. Since 1983, the name of the Venenklinik Bellevue has stood for high competence in the diagnosis and therapy of vascular diseases of the legs. Thanks to the early specialization of the Venenklinik in the field of venous diseases and the routine of well over 1000 operations annually, we now have immense experience from which our patients benefit daily. When the Venenklinik Bellevue was founded in 1983, it was the only specialized clinic for venous diseases in the whole of Switzerland. Since then, the clinic has been the first address for the treatment of vascular diseases (veins, arteries, lymphatic vessels) of the legs.
Over time, the range of services has been expanded to related areas. Diagnostics and treatment of diseases of the rectum, chronic wounds, skin diseases, lymphedema, allergies, as well as aesthetic and plastic surgery have been added. As a specialized clinic, the Venenklinik Bellevue is integrated into the healthcare landscape of the canton of Thurgau. The clinic fulfills a care mandate in its specialized fields, which is why generally insured patients are also welcome with us. Efficient structures and lean processes are also a supporting element of our ongoing success, as is the pioneering work we do daily at a medically high level. The Venenklinik Bellevue enjoys an outstanding reputation beyond national borders. For better readability, only the male form has been used in the text, which of course always includes women as well. Our patients are exclusively treated by highly specialized specialists (phlebologists, vascular surgeons, surgeons, dermatologists).

Examination and diagnosis
At the beginning of every diagnosis is a detailed conversation with the treating physician. The medical history as well as the duration and type of disease are explained. The clinical examination and additional painless examinations, for example by ultrasound, provide information about the extent of the disease and the therapy options. Operative procedures

In the case of necessary operative therapy, the Venenklinik Bellevue offers various operative procedures. The patient determines the best treatment together with their surgeon. Patients are cared for by a specialist and well-trained wound experts. All procedures are performed exclusively by experienced specialists. For main meals, we offer various menus and à la carte dishes. Our patients have access to in-house parking spaces in the underground garage. We place great value on a personal and warm atmosphere; patients should feel at home with us. Generally insured patients have comfortably furnished rooms available. For supplementary insured patients, we exclusively offer attractively and stylishly furnished single and double rooms. All rooms have shower/WC, telephone, emergency service, radio, TV, and safe and offer a beautiful view of the well-kept clinic-owned park. A duty doctor is available to our patients 24 hours a day.
