In November 2016, we opened the unique Restaurant Buckhuser in the heart of Zurich Altstetten. The public restaurant is the hub of the 12-story high-rise complex and serves internal and external guests as well as seminar and leisure guests of the Business-Lifestyle Hotel Placid. We combine international flair with design and authentic neighborhood character with regional market cuisine.

What you can achieve:
- Guest care and personal contact maintenance with the goal of providing an emotional restaurant experience
- Design of a varied and innovative food and beverage offer and its pricing, in close cooperation with the head chef
- Support in creating a new gastronomy concept
- Management of the entire gastronomy: Restaurant Buckhuser, seminar and event catering, internal self-service restaurant, room service, catering
- Leadership of the department heads kitchen and service and the entire gastronomy team consisting of about 15 employees
- Optimization and assurance of operational processes in all F&B outlets
- Creation and monitoring of the budget plan, forecasts, staffing plan and marketing plan
What you bring with you:
- Committed host personality who can establish themselves as a figure of identification
- Completion of a solid education in the field of gastronomy (at least EFZ kitchen/service, hotel management school or equivalent education)
- Familiar with sales and marketing in F&B – from global consumer trends to the local Zurich market
- Sound knowledge and several years of experience in all kitchen, service and sales processes
- Several years of leadership experience and successful management of a restaurant
- Excellent German and English skills in spoken and written form, French skills are an advantage
