About the job

We are the Kita Talgutzentrum – located right in the Talgutzentrum in Ittigen – the doors of the Kita opened just over seven years ago.

At Kita Talgutzentrum, we focus on a wide range of offerings and attentive, individual care. We provide children with diverse opportunities for discovery, movement, and free spaces. The Kita is supported by a young, lively, and motivated team.

For our team, we are looking for a group leader 40-60% starting immediately or by arrangement who can actively support our KITA team.

Your tasks:

• Educational work within the group
• Work with parents
• Designing a flexible, varied group life based on our educational concept
• Assisting in organizing and conducting events with the children and/or parents
• Helping with the design and furnishing of the group rooms
• Partial assistance with household tasks
• Teamwork, including active participation in team meetings

We expect:

• A completed training as a childcare worker or child care specialist
• Joy and passion for working with children from 3 months to kindergarten age
• Willingness to contribute within a team
• Flexibility in work scheduling
• Active participation in the group according to our educational concept
• Care, nurturing, and individual support of children according to their developmental stage
• Patience in dealing with children and resilience, even in hectic situations
• Communicative and appreciative teamwork
