Almost 180 students are taught at the Lauterbrunnental school from kindergarten or the base level up to the ninth grade at our three locations in Wengen, Lauterbrunnen, and Mürren. At all three locations, day schools and school social work complement the school offerings. In the preschool area, the municipality of Lauterbrunnen organizes playgroups and a daycare center.

Tasks
You will teach the 3rd/4th and 5th/6th grades in Lauterbrunnen part-time with approximately 21 lessons, likely on four teaching days. According to the current planning, you will teach German, NMG (nature, man, society), and crafts in the 3rd/4th grade and German, NMG, English, and sports in the 5th/6th grade. Additional lessons will be arranged by agreement.
You will work closely with the team at the Lauterbrunnen school building and with the cycle team of the entire Lauterbrunnental school. Furthermore, collaboration with the special education teachers at our school is very important to us.
You will contribute to school projects and parent work.
School management, school social work, day schools, and caretaking support you in your responsible and valued work.
Requirements
Ideally, you have completed training as a primary school teacher, Bachelor of Arts in Primary Education, or an equivalent qualification.
As a lateral entrant, you bring professional skills and have experience working with children and adolescents. You are willing to further your education within the framework of the specific offerings of PH Bern.
