Nurse - Case Manager at the DP Outpatient Consultations
The General Psychiatry Service of the Psychiatry Department at CHUV is looking for a nurse - Case Manager at 100% for its Outpatient Consultations, starting March 1, 2026, or as agreed.
Context
The General Psychiatry Service of the Psychiatry Department provides psychiatric care for the adult population (18 to 65 years) of the Lausanne metropolitan area. Organized into specialized sections, it has about one hundred acute care beds at the Cery site and outpatient consultations in the city to best meet the needs of users and network care partners.
This cross-functional position will be divided between the two Outpatient Units of the General Psychiatry Service at the Chauderon Consultations
- "Karl Jaspers" section specialized in the treatment of people with anxiety, mood, and personality disorders
- "Eugène Minkowski" section offers a specialized approach to people developing early psychosis or suffering from schizophrenia spectrum disorders
Mission
- You ensure primary follow-up of patients with long-lasting mental disorders and/or significant social difficulties
- You guarantee the identification, planning, execution, and evaluation of nursing care in the preventive, curative, palliative, and educational fields for patients
- You ensure the proper execution of delegated medical acts and take responsibility by demonstrating mastery of technical skills
- You guarantee the reception of patients and their relatives as well as the organization of work, smooth operation, and continuity of unit activities
- You develop and carry out actions for disease and accident prevention, health maintenance and promotion, as well as functional rehabilitation and social reintegration through educational approaches
- You ensure initiatives to improve the efficiency of nursing care based on scientific evidence and develop self-assessment and learning capacities
- You ensure continuity of care in planning by working nights, weekends, and public holidays.
Profile
- You hold a HES nursing diploma or an equivalent recognized title as well as Red Cross Recognition or positive Precheck for foreign qualified staff, mandatory
- You have at least 3 years of experience in psychiatry
- You have professional experience in a multidisciplinary team
- You demonstrate autonomy, flexibility, and proactivity
- You show good adaptability
- You have the capacity to contain during psychiatric emergency situations
- You have good knowledge of computer tools.
