As a pilot, you represent SWISS. Together with the entire crew, you safely and punctually bring our guests to their destination and are responsible for the aircraft, the crew, the passengers, and the cargo on board. Other tasks include:
- Operation of SWISS aircraft in a safe and efficient manner, considering punctuality, economy, and high quality standards for our guests
- Flight preparation and execution according to SWISS guidelines
- Collaboration with crew, ground staff, and air traffic control
- Support and substitute for the commander in all matters
- Continuous, self-responsible maintenance and deepening of professional knowledge

For the position of Direct Entry First Officer A330 at SWISS, the following criteria must be met:
In addition to a completed education with Matura/Abitur, diploma HF, general university or university of applied sciences entrance qualification, you meet the following requirements:
- ATPL(A), CPL(A)/IR with ATPL(A) theory or MPL license (EASA Part-FCL)
- Advanced UPRT Training according to EASA.FCL.745
- Valid A330 Type Rating
- Multi Engine IR Rating with PBN
- At least 800h flight experience on A330 family
- Medical Class 1 certificate
- Continuously documented flight performance record (flight log excerpt, license, etc.)
- Swiss citizenship or EU-27/EFTA passport
- Very good language skills in German (at least language level B2 proof, if German is not mother/t everyday language) & good English skills (at least ICAO Level 4)
- Impeccable character
- Willingness to be vaccinated with vaccines approved in Switzerland (including COVID-19, yellow fever, etc.)
- Height: 160-198cm
- Maximum age: 56 years based on GAV
