Your team
The Pictet Tech division specialises in designing and integrating cutting-edge software applications, including advanced portfolio management systems, sophisticated trading platforms and comprehensive banking and corporate solutions. As a key contributor to the Group’s strategic advancements, the division plays a vital role in driving transformative innovations that enhance our services and deliver exceptional value to our clients.
Our programme will provide you with an opportunity to gain extensive market-relevant work experience. You will work alongside 400 IT professionals, who will share their know-how and skills with you on specific projects incorporating new technologies. You may also have the opportunity to work with development teams in Luxembourg and Portugal dedicated purely to software development.
The programme offers four different career paths, depending on your aspirations and background.
- DevOps & Automation: Participate in the management and automation of cloud and on-premise infrastructures, scripting and monitoring.
- Security & Systems: Contribute to information systems security, access management, incident detection and systems administration.
- Data & Analytics: Take part in data engineering and data science.
- IT Architecture & Innovation: Discover IT architecture and work on innovative projects (GenAI, ML, etc.).
Your role
You will work on a maximum one-year contract which will include a series of rotations (lasting four to six months) with multiple departments within the Pictet Tech division. You will be assigned a mentor for the duration of the programme.
This is a chance to develop your knowledge and skills in a dynamic professional environment and work at the cutting edge of new technologies.
The programme will give you experience with a leading financial institution and includes a course introducing you to the world of banking.
At the end of the programme, you will get to present one of your projects to a group of professionals.
Your profile
- Higher degree (EPF, HES or university) in the fields of information technology, communication systems or management information technology.
- Various internships carried out in parallel to your studies, particularly in software engineering.
- Ability to manage small projects independently.
- Highly motivated, with a keen interest in new technologies.
- French mother tongue, with a good command of English.
- Must be resident in Switzerland.
