We are looking for an experienced Shift Network Engineer (L2) to AA ANS Team. The role requires providing 24x7 network monitoring, incident handling, and L2 troubleshooting support for mission-critical airport network infrastructure.
The Job
Monitor and maintain network performance and security using enterprise NMS and SIEM tools.
Provide L2-level troubleshooting for LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, and firewall-related incidents.
Perform in-depth root cause analysis and recovery for network and security connectivity issues.
Handle incident escalation, liaise with vendors and internal teams for problem resolution.
Support configuration changes, patching, and preventive maintenance according to SOPs.
Maintain detailed incident and change logs, ensuring timely updates to the ticketing system.
Collaborate with L3 engineers and security teams to maintain network availability and compliance.
Participate in network improvement, migration, and optimization projects when required.
The Person
Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related discipline.
Minimum 3 years of experience as an L2 Network Engineer in enterprise or mission-critical environments.
Valid CCNP or HCIP certification is required.
Solid knowledge of TCP/IP, VLANs, OSPF, BGP, and switching technologies.
Strong experience in Check Point, Palo Alto, and Fortigate firewalls (policy, NAT, VPN troubleshooting).
Familiar with ITIL processes, incident/change management, and 24x7 SOCC/NOC operations.
Willing to work in 24x7 shift rotation at the Airport SOCC, including weekends and public holidays.
Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills under pressure.
