For JuWe employees, the successful social reintegration of offenders and the prevention of recidivism are of particular importance.
The Dielsdorf prison is part of the main department of Zurich remand prisons, housing detainees in pre-trial and security detention, carrying out short and substitute custodial sentences in a separately managed department, and offering space for a total of 57 female inmates. - Regular shift, weekend, and night duties are part of your varied workday
What you bring
- A federal certificate of competence, a (specialist) high school diploma, or an equivalent qualification
- A minimum age of 25 years and an impeccable reputation
- A big heart that has room for the most diverse life stories
- Clear boundaries that you can set where necessary
- Patience and the right amount of assertiveness
- Strong communication skills, a sense of responsibility, and life experience that make you mentally resilient
- A flexible, humorous, and dynamic nature that helps you remain calm and solution-oriented even in demanding situations
- Experience in caregiving is an advantage but not a requirement
- Very good German skills in speaking and writing as well as good oral skills in at least one other language
What to expect
