SIX Securities Services is subject to numerous regulatory requirements due to its important role as a central custodian for securities in Switzerland, especially in the tax area.
To meet the numerous requirements and the increasing customer needs in the tax area, SIX Securities Services offers a training program in the tax field with the aim of focused talent development.
During the six-month internship, participants will learn about the most important types of taxes for securities and support the documentation and opening of accounts along the intermediary chain, as well as the processing of various tax refunds.
These are your tasks
- Minimizing risk and customer-friendly handling of various daily business tasks within the Regulatory Tax team in the areas of US Tax & Transaction Based Taxes as well as Account Documentation. In the Tax Processing Services team, you will also learn to handle tax refund services in various markets.
- Supporting operational, administrative, and analytical activities, as well as assisting with publications and tax-related projects.
- Contributing to other, more complex tax topics
- Creating and ordering various tax documents
- Independently processing customer inquiries
- Making professional clarifications with custodians, tax offices, and other counterparties
- Supporting the teams in various activities
This is what you bring
- Completed bachelor's degree in business administration or business informatics
- Experience in handling data and data analysis is an advantage
- Team player with initiative and confident communication skills
- Strong analytical and conceptual skills as well as good organizational skills and independent working style, MS Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint)
- Very good German and English skills in spoken and written form
