Bärgbeiz Gempenturm
The traditional inn with breathtaking views is located on the Schartenfluh (commonly known as "Gempenstollen" or simply "Gempen"), the highest point of the Gempen plateau at 753 m above sea level. The house, built over 100 years ago, is unique in the region due to its location and is therefore a popular excursion destination or an ideal stopover on a hike. The Bärgbeiz Gempenturm is also a wonderful place to celebrate parties in small or larger groups.

What you bring
You have completed vocational training in gastronomy/hospitality or have experience in à-la-carte service. You are motivated, interested, resilient, and remain calm even during busy times. With your friendly, polite, and open-hearted manner, you succeed in building a good rapport with guests. Through your supportive and helpful nature, you seamlessly integrate into our experienced team. German is a must, English and French are a plus.
Your tasks
- Welcoming, greeting, and bidding farewell to guests
- Active care of guests at your own service station (advice, taking orders, preparing drinks, serving food and drinks)
- Operating the cash register system
- Mise en place and cleaning tasks
- Cleaning work and implementation of hygiene guidelines according to HACCP
