Tooling Department Operator Main responsibilities:
- Check the condition and integrity of the molds intended for production
- Preparation and assembly of equipment on presses and machines
- Restoration and/or construction of new equipment as needed
- TIG and electrode welding
- Handling of loads/equipment with overhead crane and forklift
- Quality control of equipment and processed parts in accordance with the internal control plan
- Storage of equipment in vertical automatic warehouses
- Collaboration with the production team to ensure process efficiency
- Compliance with the company's current safety rules
- Previous experience in the role of toolmaker, preferably in the metalworking or forging sector
- Ability to read technical drawings
- Ability to use measuring instruments (calipers, thickness gauges)
- Availability to work in 2 shifts
- Precision and attention to detail
- Teamwork attitude and collaboration with other production departments
- Flexibility and adaptability to production rhythms on shifts
