Caritas Switzerland operates asylum centers for unaccompanied minors (MNA) on behalf of the canton of Schwyz at several locations. For the center in Ibach, SZ, we are looking for a motivated, well-organized, and mature individual as an intern. In this role, you will take on administrative tasks, provide reception services, or support the socio-pedagogical contact persons in organizing and conducting leisure activities and employment offers.

Your tasks

Reception service, loan material distribution, processing incoming and outgoing mail
General data and list recording as well as orders
Administrative handling of admissions and departures
Ordering and management of monthly subscriptions
Organization and implementation of leisure activities and employment offers (e.g., excursions, crafts)
Homework assistance for young asylum seekers
Support of professional staff in respective areas, e.g., housekeeping, caretaking, health, German lessons

Our requirements

Possibly already completed training, preferably in the social sector
Organized, customer-friendly working style
Proficient use of MS Office
Good knowledge of German and English, additional language skills are an advantage
High social competence, resilience, empathy, and ability to work in a team
Ideally intercultural competence
Driver's license category B and driving experience are an advantage
Willingness to take on work shifts with varying times (late and weekend)
Minimum age 20 years and/or mature personality

Workplace is Ibach, canton of Schwyz
Start of work: immediately or by arrangement.
The position is limited until 31.03.2026.
