As a Junior Flowable Engineer, you support the digital transformation by automating and further developing business processes with Flowable and modern GenAI tools. You work at the interface between business and technology and help create efficient low-code/no-code workflows. This way, you gain valuable experience, continuously develop your skills, and contribute to making processes more efficient and scalable.
Your tasks
- Support in analyzing and structuring business requirements and translating them into low-code workflows (Flowable)
- Collaborate in modeling and optimizing business processes with BPMN, CMMN, and DMN including AI-supported orchestration.
- Support in configuring and implementing Flowable workflows, including initial contact points with AI-supported process steps
- Contribute to integrating external systems and AI services via REST APIs
- Support in testing, monitoring, and optimizing existing workflows
- Create and maintain documentation, user guides and assist in training for business units
- Close collaboration with experienced colleagues and insights into architecture, governance, and responsible AI

Your profile
- Completed studies in computer science, business informatics or a comparable field
- First experience in Java programming and strong interest in low-code/no-code development (e.g., Flowable) as well as basic knowledge in BPMN, CMMN, or DMN
- Analytical mindset and motivation to understand business requirements and translate them into structured processes
- Initial contact with AI in workflows or interest in topics such as prompt engineering and responsible AI
- Ideally first experience with GenAI tools (e.g., Claude Code) or willingness to quickly familiarize yourself
- Good communication skills as well as very good German and English skills; French is a plus
