Sr. Operator - Primary Packaging
Summary of the Role:
Efficient, timely, and GMP-compliant preparation, execution, and completion of manufacturing and packaging orders including performing in-process controls (IPCs), as well as cleaning of equipment and machine parts. Technical leadership of the production booth.
Your Responsibilities:
- Efficient, timely, and GMP-compliant preparation, execution, and completion of manufacturing and packaging orders including performing in-process controls (IPCs)
- Technical leadership of the production booth
- Efficient and GMP-compliant cleaning of equipment and machine parts as well as production rooms
- GMP-compliant documentation of performed tasks
- Compliance with specific regulations in the manufacturing and packaging of clinical trial samples, especially GMP rules, hygiene and safety regulations, and the relevant standard operating procedures (SOPs) and order instructions
- Ensuring active, timely, and appropriate communication of progress and difficulties to colleagues and supervisors
- Active participation in identifying, communicating, and solving problems and inefficiencies as well as in improvement opportunities
- Assistance in specific projects as directed by the supervisor
Your Profile:
- Professional qualification in the pharmaceutical or food industry, preferably as a chemical and pharmaceutical technologist EFZ or equivalent. Alternatively, at least 2 years in a comparable position in the pharmaceutical industry
- Experience in the pharmaceutical or food industry
- GMP experience or training is an advantage
- Proficiency in German language, spoken and written. English skills are an advantage
- Ability to communicate appropriately and well with colleagues and supervisors in German (spoken and written)
- Ability to meet deadlines and prioritize tasks
- Ability to work independently even under stress and in a multicultural environment
- Problem-solving skills, mathematical and technical understanding
- Good IT skills (Microsoft Office), experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems is an advantage
- Flexibility for shift work
