For an external client project in the greater Zurich area, we are looking for an experienced, competent individual for the position of Senior Consultant Test Manager at senior level (from 5 years) starting from 01.07.2026
Brief description:
The Test Manager designs, plans, optimizes, and coordinates testing. He ensures that the test bases are developed in the form of the test concept, supports the testers, and transfers the testing into the subsequent operation.
Main tasks:
- Planning and building the test environment
- Creating test strategies, test concepts, and test models
- Planning, controlling, and monitoring all test activities
- Coordinating and supervising test execution
- Collaboration with developers
- Quality assurance and reporting (test coverage, creating reports)
- Technical leadership of the test team
- Supporting the test team in test case description, test automation, and test execution
Requirements:
Education, training, and certification:
- University degree/FH degree in (business) computer science or training as an IT specialist EFZ and corresponding further training
- Further training in testing / test management (e.g., ISTQB Test Manager) is an advantage
- More than five years of professional experience in the field
- In-depth knowledge in the specialty of quality assurance and testing with the corresponding methods and practices
- Good written communication skills to create, for example, test concepts and test reports
- Knowledge of test management in agile projects in a regulated environment
- Experience in test planning & control
- Knowledge of test management tools
- Knowledge of test automation tools (e.g., Tosca, Ranorex) at various levels
- Very good German skills (at least level C1) and good English skills, spoken and written
- Impeccable reputation, acceptance of a personal security check, and signing of the confidentiality agreement
- Ability to advise and solve problems in demanding and complex issues
- Good analytical skills
