Process Engineer (a) 80–100%
Your Tasks
- Developing and implementing yarn technology projects (evaluating new yarns) worldwide
- Technical yarn support and consulting of the business units in developing "Business Opportunities and Cases"
- Checking the requirements of "Business Cases" for technical feasibility
- Leading, coordinating, and monitoring yarn technology projects regarding personnel, time, costs, and quality
- Collaboration with institutes and research facilities
- Contact point for questions and concerns from product offering and production (within Sefar)
- Responsible for test planning, execution, evaluation, deadline compliance, and documentation of yarn technology projects
- Commissioning and coordinating pilot series and production trials for projects at all production sites
The Requirements
- Completed technical or engineering studies in textile technology, process engineering, plastics technology (or a comparable qualification)
- Several years of professional experience in the textile industry or a textile-related industry (great advantage in the field of yarns)
- Very good German and English skills
- A service-oriented, team-capable, and reliable personality
