About the job
For our care center in Embrach, we are looking immediately or by arrangement for a Health Specialist EFZ (50–100 %) for our specialized department for people with challenging behavior. In a dedicated team, you will accompany our residents individually and resource-oriented – actively contributing your expertise and ideas.
- As a companion, you offer individual and resource-oriented support for residents and their relatives
- Actively shape care processes and document them in care records
- Comprehensive care and support of residents
- Close interprofessional collaboration with other professional groups in the department (physiotherapy, art and music therapy)
- Help shape logistical processes in the care group
- Together with the nursing professional, responsible for daily operations
• Completed vocational training as a Health Specialist EFZ or an equivalent foreign diploma recognized by the SRK
- Service- and person-oriented action and work
- Knowledge of Kinaesthetics, Integrative Validation, Basal Stimulation, and Aggression Management or willingness to complete the corresponding courses
- Open to new things and ready to contribute creatively and actively to the development of the department

The KZU, with its two in-house daycares, operates two care centers in Bassersdorf and Embrach as well as three care apartments in Nürensdorf and Winkel. It primarily offers a home to older, care-dependent people and, in addition to various specialized services, a wide range of outpatient services. The KZU employs around 600 staff, including 75 apprentices and students in 17 different professional groups.
