At PZJE, we treat young adults aged between 16 and 25 years with disorders from the entire spectrum of psychiatry through comprehensive psychiatric–psychotherapeutic treatment. The center comprises 30 beds, divided into a crisis intervention area and a psychotherapy area. Treatment is based on the latest evidence-based medical, therapeutic, and nursing knowledge.
Tasks
- Getting to know psychiatric disorders in practice
- Gaining experience in working with patients and their social environment
- Getting to know interdisciplinary collaboration
- Participation in diagnostic and psychotherapeutic conversations
- Participation in somatic examinations
- Assisting in conducting psychological assessments
- Participation in interdisciplinary case discussions, specialist medical rounds, and expert inputs
- Participation in somatic examinations and involvement in the interpretation of medical findings (laboratory, ECG, possibly imaging)
- Documenting conversations and drafting reports under close supervision
Expectations
- Mandatory completed Bachelor of Medicine equivalent to the first state examination at the start of the internship
