Cabin Interior Designer & Materials Specialist (m/f/d)
We are looking for reinforcement for the Staad / SG location.
AeroVisto – since 2025 part of the Aero-Dienst Group and thus ADAC SE – is an internationally active specialist for the planning, design, and implementation of high-quality cabin interiors in business aviation. We accompany tailor-made refurbishment and new equipment projects throughout the entire process – from the first design idea to the final quality acceptance. We place the highest value on aesthetics, quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.
To strengthen our design and project team, we are looking for a Cabin Interior Designer & Materials Specialist as soon as possible, who will be responsible for the development and documentation of material and design concepts for our exclusive customer projects.

Design visualization and concept development
- Creation of renderings and 3D visualizations to present design ideas
- Support in design presentations for customers and internal coordination
- Ensuring a consistent visual appearance
Material definition and specification
- Creation of complete material specifications (leather, fabrics, carpets, decors, paints, etc.)
- Definition of suitable substrate materials (foams, carriers, adhesives)
- Coordination of material combinations regarding quality, processing, and approval
Material research and innovation
- Monitoring market and material trends in the field of cabin interior outfitting
- Evaluation of new materials regarding sustainability, weight, fire protection, and processing
- Collaboration with suppliers and technical partners
Sample and color selection
- Building and maintaining a sample and material library
- Creation of design boards and sample cards for customer decisions
- Documentation and archiving of approved materials
Design specification and documentation
- Creation of detailed design and construction descriptions for each project
- Close coordination with engineering and production
- Review of documents for completeness, technical feasibility, and clarity
Design control in production
- Accompanying the production process to ensure design conformity
- Control of material usage, execution, and visual quality
- Feedback to design and engineering in case of deviations or optimization possibilities
- Completed training or studies in industrial design, interior design, transportation design, or comparable qualification
- Professional experience in designing high-quality interiors, ideally in the aviation, automotive, or yacht industry
- Confident handling of 3D visualization tools as well as Adobe Creative Suite
- Knowledge in materials science and processing methods
- Precise and structured working style as well as pronounced aesthetic sense
- Strong communication skills and enjoyment of interdisciplinary collaboration
- Willingness to travel for customer appointments, trade fairs, and production supervision
- Very good German and English skills, spoken and written
