We are looking for a committed individual who reliably accompanies international video and series content (fiction, streaming) from licensing to publication. You will build our licence catalogue, coordinate deliveries and ensure that every series goes online and offline on time. In doing so, you combine a good sense for audiovisual content with negotiation skills and precise organisation.
What to expect
- You are our trend scout, screening the international market and finding the series that captivate young people in front of the screen
- You review with a sense for hooks, new narrative formats and our target audience and make well-founded recommendations on which titles enrich our library
- You further develop our offering and contribute your own ideas about which genres, topics and formats suit us next
- You negotiate with licensors worldwide, obtain offers and clarify the rights chain, from music rights to age ratings to geo-blocking
- You accept deliveries, from series to accompanying material, coordinate subtitles, dubbing and translations and ensure flawless quality, in close coordination with the content team
- You keep track of durations and ensure that every series goes online and offline at the right time
- You represent us at international trade fairs and maintain a network that shows us the best titles first
What you bring
- At least three years of experience in the international licensing business for audiovisual content.
- Sound knowledge of licensing and copyright law as well as experience in contract management.
- Knowledge of vertical content formats and the main providers.
- Business fluent English, spoken and written.
- Willingness to travel occasionally for negotiations and trade fairs.
What sets you apart
- You work carefully, reliably and consistently keep deadlines in view.
- You enjoy building relationships and are confident in dealing with international licensors.
- You organise yourself independently and efficiently in a part-time workload.
- You develop solutions independently and bring things to a structured conclusion.
- You have a sense for trends and target groups, are interested in vertical content and can assess content competently.
- You appear confident, binding and cooperative in negotiations.
