The Cantonal Police of Zurich, with its approximately 4000 employees, takes responsibility for safety in the canton. The Finance / Controlling / Management department is responsible for the planning, control, and management of all areas of finance and payroll. To actively support and further develop the controlling area, we are looking for a reliable and committed personality in Zurich as:

Senior "Business" Controller in IT 80 - 100%

Your area of responsibility

• Consulting the IT specialist departments on business management issues
• Creation of internal reports, development of ad-hoc evaluations, reporting projects, budgets, forecasts, and financial statements with the specialist departments
• Participation in the establishment and further development of controlling instruments
• Involvement in various complex tasks such as reviewing performance agreements

Your profile

• Business degree at master's level with a focus on accounting and controlling
• At least 5 years of professional experience in a comparable role, including mandatory experience in IT controlling
• High analytical skills and a very good understanding of business contexts
• Very good Excel skills as well as good SAP FI/CO knowledge
• Very high IT affinity, especially in dealing with BI tools and MS Office programs
• Fluent German in spoken and written form
• High resilience, willingness to work, and self-motivation
• Flexible, independent, team-oriented, and discreet person with high analytical skills
• Impeccable character
