The opportunity
Join our team in designing high voltage (HV) devices like gas circuit breakers (CB) or gas insulated switchgears (GIS). This internship position involves simulations and experiments to assess insulation and switching performance using various computer-aided engineering tools. You will also contribute to experimental work in high-voltage lab with the set up and execution of experiments, and the analysis of test data. The duration of this internship shall be minimum 6 months with the possibility to extend it up to 12 months.

Your background

Student enrolled in Master program in Applied Physics or Electrical Engineering with strong interest in High Voltage engineering and experimental work

Fluent English language, both written and spoken

Experience in HV labs and experimental work in applied physics is highly advantageous

Proficiency in at least one programming language for data analysis (e.g., Python, MATLAB)

Knowledge of simulation tools (e.g., COMSOL) and CAD tools (e.g., Creo) is considered an asset

Ability to work independently while contributing to a larger team effort
