2 Educational Managers in extracurricular care
between 80% and 90% in the canton of Fribourg
Start date: as soon as possible
Contract: Fixed-term contract
Workplace: Extracurricular care facilities in the city of Fribourg
Your main mission is to ensure the proper functioning and management of a childcare facility.
Main job description:
- Ensure, organize and supervise a 120-place care facility and guarantee its proper functioning
- Coordinate, lead and support the management team composed of about ten people
- Ensure the well-being and safety of the children and contribute to the continuous improvement of their care
- Manage the care budget (human and material resources)
- Establish and maintain good relationships with parents and other partners
- Be part of a global vision of the City’s care facilities and actively participate in reflections and projects to improve practices
- Accompany the children on the field
Profile sought:
- Higher education diploma in the field of childhood or Federal VET Diploma as Childcare Assistant or equivalent training
- Proven professional experience in caring for children aged 4 to 12 years
- CAS in team management and project management is an asset
- Experience in team leadership required
- Sense of responsibility, ability to work independently and in a team, reflectiveness, stress resistance and empathy
- Good communication skills and conflict management
- Mastery of the French language, good knowledge of German is an asset
- Work preferably five days a week
